With so much information available today, it can be difficult to know where to start or who to trust.
Whilst Youtube provides a great source of instructional material, it can often leave you feeling overwhelmed and confused by the vast range of opinions on a particular topic.

When I started out, I consumed as much information as I could on Landscape Photography. Endless hours of learning only to realise that much of the information I was consuming was misguided and sometimes not even correct.
At Creative Light I aim to demystify the concepts of Landscape Photography and provide a learning framework that is easy to follow and will have you out creating stunning images in no time.
Learn the key fundamental components of Landscape Photography whilst exploring one of the most stunning regions in the country.
Joining a photography workshop is a powerful way to unlock your creativity and develop the skills needed to capture stunning images.
Guided by a local expert, you'll explore composition, lighting, and camera techniques while gaining hands-on experience in stunning locations.

My story
As photographers, we often find ourselves drawn to grand landscapes and iconic scenes, but the true magic often lies in the overlooked details of nature.
By training our eyes to look beyond the obvious, we can uncover hidden patterns, textures and details that stir a sense of wonder and invite viewers into a more intimate connection with the natural world.
This is where my passion lies, in showing photographers how to slow down, truly observe, and discover the hidden beauty in nature’s most subtle details, helping them capture images that evoke connection and lasting impact.
Come join my on a workshop and let me teach you everything I have learnt and avoid all the mistakes I have made.

I highly recommend Jeff's Autumn in the High Country workshop. He allowed us to explore each site and then gently guided us to improve the compositions and settings to achieve the image that we were aiming for.
“I can confidently say it was the best workshop I have been on”

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING
I've done a number of workshops with very talented photographers and Jeffs Bright Winter Tour was way up there. Jeff was generous in every way - sharing amazing locations, giving advice, praising our efforts when they deserved praise, and sharing more detail of his editing style than anyone else - ever!
“I have already rebooked for Autumn next year!”
